Some Nissan Sentra owners probably want to get their cars looked at before hitting the road. The company recently announced that it is recalling more than 138,000 vehicles over a safety hazard that Nissan says increases the risk of an accident. Defective tie rods could break, causing drivers to lose control of their cars and posing a safety risk, according to the company.

A range of vehicles across BMW, Rolls Royce and Toyota brands are being recalled because of a defect that could put child passengers at risk. A faulty seat belt component makes it difficult to install child car seats in some 21,000 recalled vehicles, according to Consumer Reports. That makes car seats less secure in the event of an accident.
