Tesla Model S Fire in California Garage Under Investigation

Add Tesla to the growing list of electric car makers who may have a fire issue on their hands. A local fire inspector says a Tesla Model S thermal charging system may be to blame for a blaze in a home garage in San Ramon. Ford Faces Investigation Over Rearview Camera Recall

Ford is facing new scrutiny over a recent recall of more than half a million vehicles with faulty rearview cameras. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into whether Ford slowplayed a decision to recall some 620,000 vehicles. Regulators are also mulling whether the recall should have included more cars.
